It is these market INEFFICIENCIES that create huge buying and wealth opportunities for people who can recognize this opportunity.
Last year, large institutions and funds were throwing away their META shares like spoiled candy, from $375 per share to $87 per share. Nobody wanted it, even though it was going to make $10 per share. Everyone had them to sell.
A year later, META reached $400 per share.
As another example, billionaire Bill Ackman bought NETFLIX at around $350 per share (a 50% drop from its high). He put $1 billion into it. The stock continued to plunge to as low as $175 per share. He said he made a mistake and Netflix wouldn't grow, so he sold and lost $500 million. A year later, Netflix is knocking on the door at $600 per share.
Yet another, investors sold Nivida at $125 per share from $300 per share, citing growth concerns even though the stock was going to earn $8 per share. Fast forward 1 year later and Nivida has surpassed $600 per share and is one of the fastest growing stocks.
The lesson is simple: do your homework and trust your decision. Just because others don't see what you're doing doesn't mean you're wrong. Just hang in there and accumulate more.
There are several people here who scare you into getting their boss to buy your shares at a low price. The message is KEEP KEEP KEEP, YOUR ACTIONS OF TILRAY ONE DAY YOU WILL BE REWARDED. GOOD LUCK TO ALL INVESTORS IN TILRAY.
When someone tells me they follow "the Pros" I often wonder to myself if they have any idea who these "Pros" really are? "Pros" make mistakes, both on the Long Side as well as Short Side. Many of those mistakes include not being patient enough.
Those who do not research and simply "Follow" can get a rude awaking when the "Pros" wake up.
Oh.. btw, while we are tossing around examples. Shopify back in 2019 (or so) was trading at apx $350. It came under a
Short and Distort attack and dropped to $125 (+/-). When Covid came in online shopping got popular and the Market moved that stock up between $1500 and $1800.
Weirdly low-low's and strangly high-high's can often be tied back to
Short Position Trading activity
. I highly suggest researching the topic.
