I am in the lucky position of being new to the BPO prefs. It's been a fun ride so far!

Can you shed some light on the BPY bomb drop pls? I've gone through your many insightful posts but didn't hit.

I agree with you that Bruce is not interested in a $2-3B headache and will figure it out.

I bought a bunch of As and then added Ns thinking they would be dragged along for the ride (and whip harder).  Kind of worked. (Maybe I took you out lol.)

The massive price differences on the various series (and vs. the BPY US issues) make my head hurt. It's like bondies (me), equity bros and hedgies are viewing these positions entirely differently. If BPO is going to continue paying dividends, every series is a screaming buy. Big oops if not, but the risk seems remote to me. I'm concerned that I'm overthinking this and not just buying across the board.

In any case, go BPO!
