BWCG.v Unveils High-Grade Discoveries at its Cantoo & Harry

With continued economic and political uncertainty many investors are gaining interest in the gold sector and delving into junior gold companies poised for substantial growth, among them Blackwolf Copper and Gold Ltd (traded as BWCG.v or BWCGF for US investors).

BWCG is actively engaged in promising ventures in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia and Alaska, recently releasing the final results from its 2023 drilling and surface sampling programs.

Today it closed up 12% on just below its average trading volume of 290k units.

BWCG is backed by prominent Canadian mining investor and billionaire Frank Giustra, who recently acquired 575,000 shares of BWCG, bringing his stake in the company to 13.4%.

The company controls the Hyder Gold Properties, consisting of five claim blocks. Recent drilling efforts at the Hyder's Cantoo Property unveiled significant potential for high-grade mineralization, affirming the presence of a porphyry system.

The company also recently acquired the Harry Gold Project located in a 50km north-northwest trending axis which features a number of high-grade gold occurrences and deposits.

Last week, BWCG released the final assay results from the drilling and surface sampling programs done on its Harry and Cantoo properties in 2023. The Cantoo Property exhibited high-grade mineralization in scree samples, while the Harry Property unveiled multiple mineralization styles over a 3-kilometer trend.

At the Harry Property, diverse mineralization styles were identified, including high-grade gold-silver veins and multi-ounce silver base-metal veins with gold credits. Noteworthy results include 312 g/t Au and 101 g/t Ag over 1 meter. Surface sampling and mapping revealed two extensive areas of quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration and a 3-kilometer trend hosting multiple mineralized zones.

On the Cantoo Property, surface exploration highlighted high-grade mineralization and the inaugural drill program intersected porphyry-style alteration with quartz-sericite alteration and sulfide mineralization.

BWCG, fully funded for a robust 2024 drill program on the Harry Property, is eager to build upon discoveries at both properties.
