The request came from the White House, descheduling is a hot topic issue in the U.S. with over 65% of the population in favor of full legalization as well. If the DEA drags their feet too long, before the election, Biden as President has the full authority to appoint a NEW head to the DEA so that it WILL be rescheduled ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!!
You have the White House, the FDA, and the NIH all requesting it. If the head of the DEA wants to perserve her political career in Washington, she will make sure that the President's request is met because now the DEA has more than enough scientific evidence AND clinical trial evidence not to deschedule it. Polical jockeying would spell political suicide at the DEA.
I don't why the CEO of CuraLeaf said the DEA has until the end of April 2024 in the video link posted by 1hottechwoman....does he higer level visibility? He also mentioned institutions are warming up again to cannabis stocks.
