I learned with my investing experience with GBR that one of the great falicies in investing in a firm conviction is that somehow the train will leave without you. There were many instances when there was a retracement you could pick up just a little bit more with accumulated contributions or dividends in your SDRSP or TFSA. Of course I'm not advocating doing anything stupid but rather being prudent with an investment thesis. Opportunities like GBR and SGD are very rare in life and at 60 years of age I don't expect to find anything quite like them again.
