RE:RE:RE:WIL FundingYes, lots of positive developments in Libya! They really want to hit 2 mbd. It was announced at the Libya Energy & Economic Summit last month that "Speakers participating during a finance panel at the Libya Energy & Economic Summit (LEES) this week shared that the country’s planned licensing rounds – for domestic companies as well as an international tender – will be launched soon, in line with national targets to more than double oil production." . From what I have heard those licencing rounds probably won't take place until the fourth quarter of this year. Wilton may not have to be involved in that licencing procedure depending on what they have negotiated and assuming that they have negotiated anything. Again, we are all in the dark here. I'm hoping for something sooner than this fall. There have also been reports that there is cautious optimism regarding presidential and parliamentary elections in the first half of this year. The planned election process faltered in December 2021. At least the ongoing talks are moving in the right direction. I am also watching for the return of the Embassy of Canada to Libya's return to Tripoli. As of now they are operating out of Tunis. From a security standpoint the Canadian Embassy is essential for a Canadian company operating in Libya.
