Bio leaching failed before due to clumps.

Bio leaching failed before due to clumps. We were at the Rose Mason exavation when a former Anaconda drilling foreman told me of the last-minute attempt to bio-leach the ore, but the pregnant solution clogged up the pipes running to the mill.  Looks like Nuton has the chemistry right now.

BTW – The community of Greenfields changed its name to Yerington in hope that the president, general superintendent, and builder of the Carson and Colorado Railroad would be routed through their town. They named their town after him, HM Yerington, but he wasn’t impressed.  The Copper Belt RR had a right-a-way from Wabuska down to Mason until it abandoned all operations in 1947, but sadly one-hundred and forty-three years later, the City of Yerington still has no railroad at all.
