RE:RE:RE:The Gringo's last stand......Fox Creek is approximately half way between Edmonton and Grande Prairie, the two most developed industrial hubs of Northern Alberta, Fox creek does not have the best services available to the oilfiield and usually has to source them out to one of these two hubs, making for significant delays on rush services as well as higher costs. And as anyone will tell you, these roads in the area (the big stone) are horrendous. No one dreams of moving to Fox Creek to set up their dream life, which requires most fulltime staff to work remotely while they are on shift. These are not deal breakers and any major company can and will work around them, but there are costs. I can't speak to the quality of the resource.
You make great points and I agree with most of them. What is more important at this time? "Keeping up" or simply surviving the next "curve ball"? Nat gas just hit that important threshold of $2 where it becomes essentially worthless and smaller producers are incentivized to shut production in. NG Stock piles are well above the 5 year average. It's so interesting that ARX can hold above $20 at these commodity prices. Almost like the next "curve ball" is already priced in and we are getting free upside to higher commodity prices.
I'll maintain the prudent path forward is pristine balance sheets, and LOWER capex/capital discipline - INDUSTRY WIDE. As these juniors get beat up it may present opportunities, and I trust in ARX management to identify and capitalize on it when the TIME and PRICE is right.
