No financial institution is going to force repayment at such low debt to cash flow multiples. They like collecting interest as long as repayment is reasonably assured. If you talk o these management teams none of them thinks they are in trouble and need to do a deal. So a deal has to be made based on upside opportunity for the acquiree which in this environment is a pretty tough sale. Remember that PDP NAV of all these companies is well above their stock prices even at current strip. These are the run Down reserves ie no further capital so no one is going to accept an offer below those levels. Maybe it will be proven out that they should but they won't.
