On-Site Inspection Completed & Strategic Partnerships Formed Last week, Grid Battery Metals Inc. (Ticker: CELL.v or EVKRF for US investors) shared that its exploration team has completed an on-site inspection of its Clayton Valley Lithium Property in Esmeralda County, Nevada.
CELL's lithium claims in Clayton Valley are strategically located adjacent to Albemarle Corporation's (ALB) Silver Peak Lithium Project, the sole producer of lithium in North America. Furthermore, Century Lithium Corp. (LCE.v or CYDVF), a neighboring entity to the east, recently issued a pre-feasibility study outlining promising financial returns.
In collaboration with Rangefront Geological, CELL is strategically advancing its comprehension of lithium potential in the Clayton Valley region. Rangefront Geological has been engaged to undertake an updated and revised NI #43-101 Technical Report, preceding the imminent 2024 mineral exploration season.
This comprehensive report will analyze data from previous soil samples, geophysical surveys, and drilling activities on the property.
The primary objective is to identify structural intricacies and pinpoint areas conducive to lithium accumulation. These findings will serve as the foundation for a comprehensive exploration plan, which may include upcoming drilling programs to further unlock the lithium potential in the region.
Grid President & CEO, Tim Fernback, expressed optimism about the project, noting, "Clayton Valley holds the only producing lithium brine system in the United States and also holds amazing potential for lithium clay-hosted deposits."
