Buyout/reverse split questionLet's say I own 10K shares of Oncolytics and the current share price is $1.
And let's say someone buys the company for $50/sh.
Then I walk away with $500K (10K shares X $50).
Suppose there's a reverse split and I now own 1K shares at $10.
I imagine the buyer would still only want to pay $50/sh. for Onc.
So now I would walk away with only $50K (1K shares X $50). Is that right?
If that's true, then yikes if there's a reverse split !!!
