Oncolytics Biotech Inc T.ONC

Alternate Symbol(s):  ONCY

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is focused on developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent that activates the innate and adaptive immune systems and weakens tumor defense mechanisms. This compound induces anti-cancer immune responses and promotes an inflamed tumor phenotype turning cold tumors hot through innate and adaptive immune responses to treat a variety of cancers. This improves the ability of the immune system to fight cancer, making tumors more susceptible to a broad range of oncology treatments. The Company’s primary focus is to advance its programs in hormone receptor-positive / human epidermal growth factor 2- negative (HR+/HER2-) metastatic breast cancer and advanced/metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to registration-enabling clinical studies. In addition, it is exploring opportunities for registrational programs in other gastrointestinal cancers through its GOBLET platform study.

RE:Buyout/reverse split question

RE:Buyout/reverse split questionForget I asked, folks.  I just found the mistake in my logic.

If the buyer was going to pay $50/sh BEFORE the split, then they'd pay $500/sh AFTER the split since they divide the amount they're willing to pay by the number of shares.  So their buyout offer would get divided by only 1/10 of the pre-split shares.

Thanks anyway.

And let's say someone buys the company for $50/sh.

Then I walk away with $500K (10K shares X $50).

Suppose there's a reverse split and I now own 1K shares at $10.

I imagine the buyer would still only want to pay $50/sh. for Onc.

So now I would walk away with only $50K (1K shares X $50).  Is that right?

If that's true, then yikes if there's a reverse split !!!
