So the dividend costs them 3.639B, Free Cashflow is around 3B, and they have 5.8B in available liquidity... so maths say a little over 9 years should all things stay the same...
It seems like post 2024 after all the severances are paid, on lower capex for employee heads and infrastructure, FCF and the dividend cost should be pretty close to in line, not to mention interest rates fall will also help a little.
We should also note that BCE has an internal DRIP, so the dividend cost calculation is only on paper, actual money out is likely 10-20% less depending on how many subscribers they have to that.
