Kimbali, Fosterville and many others in the Red Lake and Abitibi regions provide good examples .
Early development to mining of the initial discovery then becomes an efficient way to internally fund the exploration and development of new statelite mines within the project area.
NFG have provided no definitive timelines in its path along this strategy todate, although implicit in its toll milling investment in MAE is that they are seriously considering it's imminence .
It is such an announcement that will force the shorts to cover , as if their goal is the cheapest possible buyout , that would be no longer achievable given the promotional force de frappe that would accompany the early mining announcement .......AIMHO..
as I have said many times before they are advancing many options at the same time but it is premature
to make a decision on if they should start mining the multiple open pit discoveries until they finish or at least substantial finish thier drill program that is guided by the 3D Siemic survey They may even find new richer grade deposits near surface or enlarge the existing high grade near surface deposits that they have discovered from surface to 250 meters below grade
What they are really looking to prove is that the high grade gold deposits go to depth as the geology suggests it does
They have hired the right people to take this in whatever direction the geology dictates professionals that will make professional decisions based on the facts of the project not speculation of armchair investors or armchair geologist.Let the professionals do thier job .The current low share price is a gift for new investors and a blessing for current investors to add if they want to their positions .once they prove gold goes to depth as the geology suggests it does or they announce they will permit to open a number of the high grade pits to mine the share price could be multiples of where it is today do your own DD these are my thoughts
