I though i already made that clear in my original post, by stating it's a culmination of MANY facttors and solely based on any one like Hasr rates. Maybe some folks might misunderstand what these lists are for or their main objectives.......or at least MY objectives for making this list.

If it was only based on ONE factor like who's the biggest or possess the largest Hash rate, then this list would be EASY to do and the winner would either Marathon or CoreScientific. But fortunately for you folks, this list isn't about who has the biggest wiener, but really about looking for the best miners in terms of OVERALL  value at a specific time frame in which you could potentially profit from going forward.

As an example i'll take this. As Marathon & CoreS are the two biggest ones, having identical rates in terms of processing power, which is the better investment when certain OTHER factors are taken into consideration? To make it easy, just add one other factor to the equation to get a simple answer, like EV value. Marathon has an entreprise value of $6B+ compared to Core's $1,3B........

So taking those two factors into consideration, which is the better investment right now and which would you rather invest in? Core or Marathon? I think the you know the answer, which is pretty evident. So when you add other factors, it becomes more complex and you get a list like mine, which is very deeply thought out and thorough. Taking things like RISK mitigation into the equation as well.

So to answer your question, Marathon is NOT in the top 5 because its fairly OVERvlaued compared to its peers when the list was done and has other disadvantages or negatives comapred to the others if other areas. Maybe at $5, Marathon was definitely number one at some point, maybe at $10 it would be top 3, and you can probably even make a case for it between $10-$15 to be in the the top 5. But imo, at $20+ and EV value of ~$5B, it's difficult for me to have it in the top 5 when there are better options than them.....considering other factors.

I hope this makes it more clear........
