But as long as BPY is a stand alone entity, they are JUNK and 5.18% is a better spread than they get going forward. If BN steps in and guarantees BPY, then things change again. (ii) The BILLIONS and BILLIONS that Brookfield is raising is not for BPY's balance sheet. I have told you before, this is for BAM's account and the Fund's balance sheet. (iii) It says in their NCIB press releases on Jan 10 that all shares purchased will be cancelled. They won't be trading them. Carena
