Apple worked on Apple M1 chip for 50 years before they could release it. 

if you think about edgewater is crushing at the speed of light spliced 


Edgewater has had actual chips for quite some time, claiming successful installations. Also, a 802.11 chip is hardly groundbreaking requiring 50 years of development. The M1 chip is a CPU, incredibly compled by comparison.  The holdup for  their chip is cause by something quite different. Lack of interest. IMO.
