E3 Lithium Ltd V.ETL

Alternate Symbol(s):  EEMMF

E3 Lithium Ltd. is a Canada-based lithium resource company. The Company is focused on commercial development of lithium extraction from brines contained in its mineral properties in Alberta. The Company’s Clearwater Project is located between Red Deer and Calgary in Alberta. Its Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) on-exchange technology uses a sorbent designed to be selective towards lithium ions. Its technology reduces volumes of low-grade brine into a high-grade lithium concentrate, removing nearly all impurities. This produces a clean product for the development of high purity lithium compounds used in Li-ion batteries. The Company has measured and indicated lithium resources in Canada, with 16.2 million tons (Mt) measured and indicated Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE), hosted in the Leduc Aquifer. In addition, it has 0.9 Mt of inferred mineral resources in its Rocky Area.

Lilac Solutions? Are they tied up to any other projects?

KTS has been doing some pretty specatacular work in combo with Century Lithium and would be free to couple with E3.

I doubt Standard Lithium is going to share it's tech.

Livent has been in DLE for some time, but don't think it is them.

So what are people's thoughts. Who's tech is so good E3 just pulled a 180 and is not going commercial with it's own tech?

It's not a 180 surprise. Chris has said since June, this was possible @ Start to start producing fastest---- even if there are short-term trade-offs.

Later implement own DLE.
I personally just don't like the continued confidential l, when all other players have laid out their cards.

On-top of multiple other still loose ends not clarified from past pr's.

Will go with 2024 is E3 go at it alone longer than what seemed likely, before the Q4 2023 down turn, into today's market positionings.

Of course Chris knew all this ---- "$3.55".

Using 3rd party DLE is not a big PFS adjustment.
Especially when start pulling co-products.

How is it not a 180? The entire original premise of the company was to build a way to take the well established knowledge of Albert oilfield brines and find a way to extract the lithium which is now more in demand. So the company seemed to be on the way to having built that process with a new proprietary tech. Has gotten all the way to building a large PP with that idea. Now when going to commercial scale they are not going to start with the tech? But going with a new confidential tech. While still working on it's own process. That is a 180 in my book.

The question is what tech proved to be superior to start a commercial scale with? What looked so much more promising to make the switch at this point? Is this company killing news? Not at all. E3 still has a huge resource and in a good jurisdiction for extractive companies. But what I want to know is who was so good to make this big change in direction.

That is what I want to see people speculate on.
