CEO comparisonI was reading about Mike Rose, CEO of Tourmaline Oil.
He was awarded Candian CEO of the year.
There's an article/interview with him posted to the Calgary Herald.
Reading it, you can see how much he cares about his company, the buisiness, employees AND shareholders. He is honest and exceptionally talented. He started in the industry as a geologist and went on to found and grow three very succesful companies. He communicates the truth clearly and regularly to the owners of the company (shareholders).
The comparison between Mike Rose and Matt Coffey is night and day.
MC is not honest, he has over-promised and underdelivered forever. MC is a scientiest and he has never shown the necessary skills or talent to lead a company. He should never have been selected as CEO of ONC.
MC cares about the c-suite and ensuring the gravy train of high salaries and excessive stock options continues as long as possible. He does not give a damn about existing shareholders.
MC somtimes issues statements congratuting himself on past successes (like 2023, which in fact was a disastorous year for ONC) and assuring the market that P3's are coming soon!
MIke Rose is Canadian CEO of the year. Matt Coffee has to be one of the worst.
