Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. RE:RE:RE:RE:One week today is EARNINGSHey J, thank you for your input. While I understand what you are saying, the point I was trying to drive home was preparedness. 

I also believe the positions in question were established at considerably higher value. As I have never and will never trade on margin (as I just don't have to nor want to) my knowledge on the topic is admittedly general. Given the already steap decline in value coupled with conceivably an additional reasonable further decline in the event of a cut, could put you in jeopardy of breeching certain predetermined equity/value levels and thus trigger the call. Not knowing those levels nor original book value nor what decline in value a cut could create makes it difficult to judge ultimately, thus the preparedness.

Having said all that, as per my original post, I personally DO NOT believe there is an imminent cut coming. 

I do believe however the sector remains under short term pressure here given Fed near term outlook. Good luck!
