RE:I agree about Canadian exposure
My view on Eagle Ford assets are the exact opposite.  If Eagle Ford properties have such high value on the market, sell them and pay of the mountain of debt, and maybe buy back a whack of shares while at it.  The expension of Baytex into the Eagle Ford (two major moves over the years I believe) are what put the company in dangerous waters because of the debt required to finance each expansion.  I hear about how Eagle Ford is such an attractive play, but it has been very densely drilled and I wonder how much life is left in it.  In Canada, Clearwater is supposed to be one of the best plays in North America-- great economics, early stage.  IMO, BTE would be better served if they cleaned up the balance sheet and got smaller by selling Eagle Ford, and then focus on development of their good properties in Canada.
