"In the 20th century, some of the most significant and persistent droughts over the U.S. and Canadian prairies were during the 'dust bowl' years of the 1920s and 1930s. The drought years of 1919–21, 1929–31, and 1936–37 have been well identified, especially in southeastern Alberta and southwestern Saskatchewan".


Donwaan wrote: Firstly, just acknowledge that climate change is a serious issue. Slave Lake and Ft. McMurray burning up didn't happen in a vacuum. Nor is the current drought that could cripple AB this summer. Secondly, think objectively about it and act accordingly.
