RE:Cuban Medical SystemYes the doctors are fine people and take care of you. My heart goes out to them though because they don't get the standard of living that doctors in US or Canada have. They make peanuts. I've been there many times. Once went with a freind who had a benign lump on his arm. He went to a clinic had the minor surgery done.....perfectly... for something like $40. Once when I was there, there was a dentist office right at the resort. I was outside the door ready to go in and have a couple of fillings done. But I got cold feet at the last moment. They were charging $5 to do a filling. Even though others told me the dental work there is excellent, I just couldn't wrap my head around how something that costs $150 here in canada can be had there for $5. The old "you get what you pay for" thought wouldn't let me go in hahaha
