I'm pretty sure I recall reading this type of vague, no substance type of post on the Hexo board. Or maybe it was Zenabis?
Regardless - there was talk of Hexo being 'top 3 cannabis LPs IN THE WORLD' when they had Truss and Redecan.
But I guess this time will be different?

US legalization is likely years away - rescheduling will come first and THAT will only delay full legalization. Regardless - Tilray will see any substantial gain when eitehr happen because they just wont penetrate the US market that US MSOs have been operating in for years - and are vertically integrated with their own retail.

Germany?
How many foreign companies have subsidiaries operating in Canada, now that Canada cannabis has been legal for 5 years?
How much cannabis does Canada allow to be imported into our country?
Does everyone realize how many companies are already lined up to over supply Germany - or is Tilray the only one?

And Tilray's cannabis divison is NOT Tilray's US alcohol division - just because you sell 2 kegs of beer a month in New York, does not get you equal footing to Curaleaf or any other US MSO operating in New York - for years already.
It's like suggesting Tilray will sell it's Quebec grown tomaties in California - sure they will, they'll just take the tomatoe market share away from those California growers who've been there for decades.

Tilray needs to make its cannabis operation in Canada survive - and it needs to do that by getting a handle on it's out of control expenses - and ridiculous acquisition of more bankrupt Canadian LPs.

Simple Simon couldnt get that done with Hain - he hasn't changed his failed strategy whatsoever (serioulsy, 8 failed craft brewers - which are actually local brew pubs) and like he was with Hain, eventually poeple will realize he's just not worth $30 million a year for his colelction of mis-jointed, unprofitable, gobbly gook companies - who he cant integrate or EVER realize the 'synergies' he keeps selling..

You want Tilray to turn around - start with the top and get some competent senior management in there and work your way down to the paid promoters.

Germany + Legalization

I encourage everyone to do as much reading and research on developments in Germany.

Read it as you will however Germany has double the population of Canada therefore we are going to see the market triple in size from what it is today.

The added demand for cannabis increases opportunities for every company licensed to supply cannabis to Europe, which Tilray is.

I am opting to see this as a very positive historical moment in a global movement towards full legalization.  I also see it as asserting additional pressure on the US fed to get the wool out and legalize cannabis in the US
