Commodities price cycle

Commodities price cycle

Currently completely decoupled from inflation most commodities are trailing behind on pricing, just look at lithium price vs its future need, it does not fit. We will see mine closing and project delays because of current economic conditions. If the ROI is not there why would you open a mine based on the cost to develop if pricing is not at a reasonable level.

actually we will see lower price before we see a correction. Most of the people expect interest rate to go down early in the year but it will be more in the second half of the year. So spring could be difficult on commodities pricing.

gold will behave following other commodities. Let's hope that we will find a floor on stock price for junior and larger producing companies.

we will have to surf on this timing with hope nothing left at the moment

Newmont needs to meet its annual budget and deliver on all its criteria.
as everybody knows, management does not give a damn on stock price value, they just manage ha ha ha.
