Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:Well I am back boys!Welcome back! We missed your posts. I remember you got stopped out at $5.00. So hopefully this is a nice sell high and buy low moment. Just don't forget to set aside the cash to pay taxes on thost capital gains from the sell in December.

The Q4 report will be good. We were discussing it here when we were trading at $4.00. Lots of fear and only a few weeks later a lot of traders are piling in ahead of the Q4 report. 

I think we know more or less what Q4 is going to show already and have discussed it here ad nauseum, so I don't think there will be any surprises. But I do think it will be eye opening for analysts who have removed BTE from their screen software (as many do after mergers/acquisitions) who see the value of BTE relative to peers. That should inspire a re-rate to at least the levels of other peers...and they are also markedly undervalued.
