RE:RE:RE:RE:Duracell LICENSEE !What would be the process for DPC to have been allowed to use the Duracell name as an official licensee.
I would think that it was an entry effort to test the market.
Itochu with BH had to have some input with a request from Eguana to have a retail marketer in the US.
Duracell had no history of any kind in the BESS market.
Eguana U had to have some retail referrance to give it a legit sale point for installers.
This would indicated that in the US Eguana had little to no demand credibilty other than as a BESS system designer.
I have no real background info as to the success as well as acceptability of the Eguana system in the US market.I believe it is poorly accepted as is.
Therefore no reason to spend a wad to bring out and test new designs with no demand.
All would indicate a serious pivot from actual direct sales of BESS systems to that of working with grid power suppliers / providers in selling the complete package ; finance, installs, power contracting to the grid, to the residential kitchen table .
Itochu's original plan if I got it right was to steer the players into a global electrical provider by solar.
