RE:RE:NOU SP should have continued going up?MaterialsMan,
You are correct that the market requires a company development which will contribute to the bottom line and I also agree that "uncertainty, whether real or perceived, is not what investors like to experience".
How would projected initial revenues derived from the 200 tpa supply of NOU's SPCG "BAM" catch your fancy or perhaps the sale of an equity percentage of the Lac Gueret graphite project to a global chemicals company?
Although my own expectation is that Canada's Strategic Innovation Fund ("SIF"), The Canada Growth Fund Corporation and the U.S. Government's DOD, DOE would be injecting grants and capital investments and loans accruing to NMG's balance sheet.
Is that good enough for you MaterialsMan?
I have to say that NMG's Go Final Investment Decision or "GO FID" is going to catch everybody offguard, i.e. everybody except people like you and I MaterialsMan.
Also, I 've been giving some thought to the possibility being that perhaps most NMG investors mistakenly expect that the first phase 200 tpa SPCG anode manufacturing capacity facility will be remaining idle once the company's SPCG anode material is validated, qualified and certified by and on behalf of these first two announced "binding" offtake purchase agreement anchor customers, something which has already taken place (there's a news flash!); hence the signing of the binding offtale agreements.
I've concluded that it would be part of the overall plan to operate the 200 tpa capacity manufacturing facility at peak manufacturing capacity output and to continue to do so even though the offtake purchasers had already validated, qualified and certified NMG's SPCG anode for use in both GM and it's partner's Ultium Cells battery cells.
That's correct, it's LGES MaterialsMan.
You'll note that LGES also has battery cells manufacturing joint ventures with company's such as Stellantis N.V., Hyundai Motor Group, Honda Motor Co., Ltd
I fully expect the only thing which would stop NMG from operating that initial phase 200 tpa capacity facility at a full clip until that Becancour 43,000 Tonnes per annum manufacturing capacity facility is built and fully ramped up to manufacturing nameplate capacity, is the amount of available graphite material remaining from the massive bulk samples previously mined in order to have validated, qualified and certified NMG's SPCG anode materials.
That initial phase 200 tpa capacity manufacturing facility could be generating actual operating revenues soon enough and that would contribute to NMG's bottom line as well MaterialsMan.
Just a couple of thoughts for you MaterialsMan.
