RE:RE:Just me and you GusThe reason I think the apparent Pre-PDAC and PDAC no-shows are relevant is because if you don't already have a JV partner lined up along with the rest of the financing for the initial capex, these events are outstanding opportunities to interact in person with a large assortment of potential JV partners and other sources of financing. It also gives you a chance to get your story out to investors to create some buzz / juice the share price by discussing your proposition face-to-face. Now, CEO Reid mentioned in the Crux interview back in October that he was already talking to debt financing entities and potential partners, so again, perhaps he's just putting the finishing touches on a full set of financing agreeements to be released with the FS. If so, great. If not, there are obviously impediments to finalizing these potential agreements. Thus, showing up at the PDAC events could open new doors to more attractive deals. Again I ask, if these events aren't important any longer given all the alternatives for remote discussions / communications, why are they still packed with so many mining companies and other businesses both larger and small....? I bet a lot of networking is done at these conferences (especially PDAC) and the genesis of many deals occur during the event.
