The date is set by the board prior to approval and unknown to non insider shareholders until a news release. Tudor did this and I did not receive gstm spinout shares for the Tudor shares I purchased between the news release date and the previous spinoff date. This angered me and I sold off Tudor and bought Tueton shares. I trust Tueton will not pull the same stunt on their spinoffs by advising a forward date instead of an previous date.
