I wish you canucks would use C$ for your loonies.I saw the post about selling at 1.91, and it gave me a fright thinking I sold far too early at US$1.42.

Okay, what will the week ahead bring?  What do we know?  We know that the USD has been basically range bound last two weeks, but with rather sharp pop and drop volatility causing concern because it feels unsure, and little is more frightening to the markets than uncertainty.

So, what about news?  Fear about China grows but that’s not a new story.  Greedy investors are asking if the time to buy back-in at bargain prices is now?  When no plan to make investors of development there better than ten cents on the dollar, AND China has stopped reporting certain financial data?  What’s happening there isn’t something they’re proud of, but I think that’s priced in for the moment.   Asian demand for gold will pick up in the coming months.

Is it more likely than not, that some will take profits and POG will contract?  Pretty good considering the "Wall of Worry" with this pop.

Seeing the leading edge of a business slow-down coming in months ahead as demand overseas falls.
