man the nonsense being spewed here is just nuts and smells like someone is short...

why were these sites left dormant for so long?  Because prices were low, and then the Green movement made natural gas "bad" in Europe, until they realized that they need it to survive, at which point this happened:

Natural gas was declared "green" due mostly to economics, and suddenly, those who had moved to acquire these assets in 2014 looked like geniuses. And then Russia invaded Ukraine, and put all natural gas supplies in Europe in jeopardy. You don't have to do much DD here, but man, do some DD, and you'll see why these assets are now very valuable.
