Was there someone disputing that alcohol sales increased quarter ove quarter by 117%, quinlash?
But again, why do you use % signs instead of revenue dollars - does '117' sound more impressive?
But then, if you spend investors cash on 8 failed craft brwers - your revenue SHOULD probably go up.
Even I could increase revenue if I had a piggy bank funded by investors and could buy any bankruot company out there - with no personal risk whatsoever to my $30 million a year compensation.
But it would be far more impressive if Tilray could increase evenue organically, without having to buy failed companies - you post about 117% increase in alcohol - how did the cannabis division do in the same time period?
But back to alcohol, yes sales increased by $26 million - but the Gross Profit only increased $6 million, increasing from $10 million to $16 million. That's GROSS Profit - profit after direct production expense - but BEFORE Operating Expense.
Tilray is still a bottom line moeny LOSER - but because Tilray is not transparent in it's financial reporting - they do not disclose segment or division numbers, so the exact loss of each area is not shown.
Anyone want to fact check the above?
You'll get a better tunderstanding of Tilray reality - than the simplistic statement that 'alcohol sales increased by 117%'
