RE:Everyone On CNBC I'd never tell someone they should buy or sell. I'm holding a very large position & if cash clears I will be making one more add within the next two weeks, if I can get it in before the FS is released.
So why am I so confident here? Am I blind to the fact that the FS could in some way disappoint? While I am expecting some terrific numbers, I am also bery aware that a negative surprise is ALWAYS possible. No, it's not the FS that has me rock solid. It's the lack of real downside from our current valuation.
I'm in the US, so I talk USD. We are at a $116M MC. That MC is for a company with a defined resource at a raw value of $28,275,000,000. The absolute only thing that could crash this stock would be a left field environmental concern that gets the Fed. permit declined. Impossible ... no. Likely ... no. Very little chance IMHO. So the real worry behind a weaker than anticipated FS is the amount of gain here will have to be adjusted. That will be the disappointment. Real long term downside risk from here. I just don't see it. Temporary if there is a shocker in the numbers....sure....but unlikely.
I think we are good. I'm originally from NY. I don't trust easily. I've closed out move Jr. positions then I'll ever stay in by many fold. This still feels solid to me. I was getting a but wobbly about things when the resourse report was pushed back again & again. Then I saw it & it exceeded all expectations I never thought 12 of 13 M ozs would be in M&I catagory. I was blown away by that. So they get my trust that the FS will end up just like that....exceeding expectations. We shall see.
