RE:Has American cannabis Advocates have become complacent ?lou64 wrote: All hale Biden's speech and his administration for the mere acknowledgement of rescheduling without providing any update of when / where / how or their push on the DEA to reschedule asap ???
It would almost make one wonder ( IF ) that the America Advocates and American Industry is now rolling over to " EXPECT THE FACT " that the ONLY hope coming out of Biden's Administration is for cannabis to be rescheduled opposed to becoming " LEGALIZED " ...
Reading the articles after Biden's speech it truly shines alight on where cannabis is going and what is now expected ... It was almost like the Cannabis Industry as a whole has " EXCEPTED DEFEAT " On the subject scale of FULL LEGALIZATION isn't happening and has taken the fact rescheduling as the sole is the " ONLY " win from or will get out of the Biden Administration ???
The speech and the acceptance of the MERE BONE is the limit of expectancy of where cannabis is and where it will be in America !!!
One small step foreward but a rigid HALT there after on any expansion of legalization ... Let's cheer
(view as win ) for a stalemate of any political passage of llegalization ???
Biden camp May boast but it truly was a sad moment for real hard reform for cannabis to become legal ...
What this means that ANY Canadian LP that was hoping / praying to jump into American cannabis landscape was dealt a SERIOUS BLOW about their prospects of selling in a country that has just dropped the ball on total reforms
That's actually a very good point that has not been mentioned on forums for some time. As long as the Federal borders remain closed the MSOs have had a moat protecting their market locking out the LPs. It's actually been to their advantage to not have full legalization. It will be interesting to see if rescheduling can open any ports for the LPs.
