Consider this Fort McKay FN relationship to AXE and SU

Consider this Fort McKay FN relationship to AXE and SU
Approx C$68mm in Royalties and similar payments to First Nations related to petroleum annually.
So pretty small IMO as a group.

But this FMFN/SU has the potential to significantly raise royalties to FN. Beyond royalties, it'll spill over many many more C$$ to related picks/shovels services.

I have also wondered about the AXE | kisastwew collaboration.
Announced Jan 2020

The partnership, called Acceleware | Kisstww (which means “heat” in Cree), is an effort to promote Acceleware’s RF XL technology to industry and policy makers.
Is it merely ESG embellishment or way more below the covers?  So far embellishment.

Perhaps Bogus, but I see it as a baby step towards potential RFXL application  on FN lands.  This is an opening.  I looked at the headline with wow in mind. Then start reading intently for clues for anything related to thermal or AXE.  Disappointed too but consider the following and one of our board members:

Fort McKay First Nation

ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH COLLABORATION
Acceleware | Kisstww will strive to create a thriving new energy economy that creates sustainable economic development, attracts responsible growth prospects and renews global investment interest in Alberta and North America.

Acceleware’s electrification technologies can create these opportunities.

Acceleware | Kisstww will also work to help ensure that good paying jobs in the oil sector can transition to sustainable employment in the new energy economy, as well as to create new clean tech opportunities for everyone.

Jim served on the Fort McKay First Nations executive and as a elected Council member during early 1980s.  In 1986, he was elected as Chief.  Jim Boucher served as the Chief for over 30 years to his community Fort McKay First Nation.   As Chief, he began helping the community navigate the decline of the fur trade in the early 80's and the growth of the oil sands industry, facilitating proper consultation and advancing the rights of his community and the peoples.

Jim was a driving force in the Fort McKay First Nation making an historic investment ($545 million), in Suncor's East Tank Farm on November 22nd, 2017.  The transaction built upon on a foundation of trust and collaborative leadership and serves as a model for how First Nations and energy companies can work together to achieve mutual long-term benefit.   At the time, the deal represented the largest business investment to date by an Indigenous entity in Canada, and it is the first time the energy industry has given a majority stake to an outside party.

In 2020, Jim co-founded the Saa Dene Group of Companies and continues to service as President and Chairman of the Board.  He currently serves as an advisor and a board of director on several private and public companies, non-partisan and purpose drive organizations such as Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation (AIOC); Acceleware; Energy Council of Canada; Alberta Order of Excellence; Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA); Alexander Business Corporation.
The AXE partnership is on their home page. Brief.

Recently FMFN involved with small nuclear reactor. But is that OT., not to me, AXE needs much MWh of clean electricity to operate.
