RE:Volume Looks like the Canadian market went to sleep today.
the Nas Oncy , not exactly blazing an6 trading trails either.
There are many shares outstanding. Meaning being held.
One can interpret the low volume 2 ways.
No buyer interests & equally no seller interest.....at existing price points.
Hard concept to grasp.
Essentially tye 1000s of existing shareholders are saying ":I'm willing to wait & see what happens next, not selling at these prices"
and
The many hundreds of potential new buyers are saying ":I'm willing to wait & see what happens next, I'm not buying at any price"
IMHO a very interesting spot to be in.
For me, I'm not selling @ any shares until news of a partnership or buyout.
So, the solitude of trading volume is a nice backdrop.
A bit if deeper analysis regarding this type of near zero activity.
Any good news at all will be met with a substantial SP increase.
The Q4 update did contain some opportunities for future excitement. Yet the delivery left a lot to be found.
Meaning one had to listen between the lines.
it was acknowledged that they plan on starting phase 3 this year. With details to follow soon.
also updates on bracelet overall survival due, when the events happen.
So, lots of wait & see type of things.
seems to be the " market" is in the wait & see mode.
I appreciate hard to get excited in the backdrop of low volume & near all time low prices.
afterall, yiu can always wait until there is excitement & pay 10% more.
Funny side story on that.
Back when we had the panic/ Covid correction, some mutual funds pro they would not touch Ford , under $10....their portfolio mandate was not to buy anything under $10.
Yet were quite happy to by buy above $15!
call me crazy!
one would do better buying when others are not.
Other interesting tid bit for today.
ever notice the fudster crew ONLY post when market is open. Never on weekends.
By observation, They work real hard to keep up the FUD.
The evidence speaks for itself.
