Remember When... IMA Exploration vs Acquiline

Remember When... IMA Exploration vs AcquilineDoes anyone remember Navidad Silver discovery in Argentina. It was an extremely high grade silver discovery. It caused a ton of excitement and a big fight over ownership.

But the real the real sory was unfolding in a diffent part of the property called Galena Hill...where tey found a low grade bulk deposit of silver. In the end 90% of the deposit value was not at Navidad but at Galena Hill.

I have seen many posters looking at this deposit and panning it because it isn't high grade. If they can prove a connection between FDP and Butia, where Butia is near surface and then you can mine big widths and heights of mineralized material. No road building, no strip ratio... just mine the deposit and create a car port like structure where you are creating a roof out of cap rock. When you are done with 1 row you simply shift to the right and start mining from the front of row 2 and replace the spent material back into row 1 while mining row 2. So you have a small temporary tailing are and then replace the rock.

Don't overlook the value of having a small strip ratio and the value of a big bulk deposit.
