Funny thing is, book value of the units not owned by Melcor is a liability and is held at the market value. So that is what Melcor's financials imply the minority units would cost the corporation in a takeover - a tiny fraction of NAV.

The obvious path of least resistance for Melcor is a SIB, or a series of SIBs, rather than a hostile takeover.
