Rusoro Mining Ltd. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the operation, acquisition, exploration and development of gold mining and mineral properties. The Company is a gold producer and explorer, with a land position in the prolific Bolivar State mining region in southern Venezuela. It has gold reserves of approximately 5,584,000 ounces and inferred resources of over 6,805,000 ounces. RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Nice drop to a ...Hopeful, just the first 3 claims total about $13 Billion. Crystallex, Tidewater, Conoco/Phillips.
The next 4 including Rusoro make the total maybe $16.5 Billion, with Rusoro last of the 7.
The total claims are about $21.3 Billion at last known tally.
There are discussions about using claim dollars to purchase (i.e. less, or no cash in the bid) with the winner responsible for paying other claimants from future pofits of Citgo. A lot of unknown outcomes.
Another possiblility could be to pro-rate the awards to the winning bid if it's less than the total of claims. I haven't seen any comment about this; it's just my speculation.
