RE:RE:RE:Science and HealthThere were several chances to do well with it and I did a couple of times.
I hung on to 5k shares for the longshot multibagger play that I feel could be imminent if they catch fire with a working model.
Sadly, Team Klein pulled off their premature consolidation that I refer to as a castration because that better describes the devastation that move has inflicted on every Canopy shareholder on file.
It will take multibaggers for Canopy starting at 10x which I believe will be possible for CUSA if Canopy shareholders get to go along for the ride.
More dilution is a huge possibility because there won't be enough shares around to satisfy investors but my sense is that it will be a private company that won't have to answer to shareholders.
Team Klein want the whole enchilada of unlimited shares and no voting so they have airtight control of the future of CUSA.
Prior to the castration, I felt that the lack of shares could launch multibagger potential because I don't believe that Americans are fully invested in this and it could have driven the shareprice back due to supply and demand.
US legalization would be a step forward, as would Canopy finishing their deal with Acreage but those would just be precursors to what really needs to be solved which is the supply and demand of pot in all of its skus.
Too much supply has the downturn in the greenrush locked up until it is dealt with and less supply also means less potpreneurs.
I still like the biggies, firstly the MSOs and maybe Canadian LPs survive but the way Canopy's management manipulated things could be rubbing off on the other LPs.
Tilray launched some new rtd cannabinoid beverages today, I guess in Canada, for fear of stirring up American protectionism which is the only reason I can see for all of the foot dragging they and Canopy are doing despite stating that they aren't waiting for US legalization.
US has to deal with their black market issue to get control of cannabinoid supply and level the playing field with legit tax and licensce paying players.
The Mexican cartels have a huge advantage growing pot and should concentrate on that as a legal supply chain for US MSOs for raw product for value added skus.
Cannabinoid infused beverage skus are destined to be huge winners as profitable items when they are finally able to go toe to toe with beverage alcohol because they show huge promise to be healthier options.
I'm not sure where Canadian beverages are at with Klein shutting down the Toronto facility but I would love to see them get launched on US soil using the Delta 9 from hemp technology loophole that seems to cross State lines which seems to be the biggest holdback for US potpreneurs. Apparently it packs the same buzz as pot people expect but because it is made from hemp, it is legal, at least 'til the politicians save us from it.
Klein won't say which shareholders he is loyal to which has me on edge that he is going to fockabunch of shareholders over by declaring bankruptcy for Canopy which will allow STZ lending to be first in line for collaterol which is a leaned out Canopy all ready for relaunch and profitability with a little pro-shareholder management.
