Conference in Toronto has virtual and in-person registration options
The 2024 Iteration of the Indigenous-Led Project Forum will take place on April 2-3 at the Sheraton Place Hotel, Toronto.
“Our theme for this year is Transitioning to the Green Economy, and it’s all about opportunities for Indigenous nations around that economy,” explained host and PRESIDENT/CEO of Indigenous Community Engagement, Michael Fox.

“We are very excited about the information and opportunities that will be available in this year’s forum,” said Fox. “Attendees can expect insightful keynote speeches from Indigenous and industry leaders, as well as federal, provincial and municipal government officials. There will be informative panel discussions and case studies led by industry experts and Indigenous partners.”
He added, “The event also offers valuable networking opportunities, enabling participants to connect and explore potential collaborations. As well, there will be a trade floor featuring Indigenous artisans and businesses, providing a platform to showcase their creations and services.”
Some of the key topics that will be covered at this year’s forum are:
  • Critical Minerals: The Indigenous Potential

“This forum will be invaluable for all of our Indigenous neighbours and friends, as well as those businesses who want to take advantage of this chance for partnership and collaboration in this exciting sector of the economy,” explained Fox. “The future is the green economy. This forum will provide important insight and a blueprint for stepping forward into this opportunity.”
The event will be hybrid, allowing those who want to do so an opportunity to attend online, at a reduced rate. “We recognize not everyone has the time or inclination to attend in person in Toronto, but we wanted to make sure this forum is accessible to as many people as possible, hence the virtual registration option,” said Fox.
