"What's your issue? That something being traded at $2.60 be bought back by the company at $7.69 and be taken private? "

Distain/disgust for stupidity.  The letter sent by Firm evokes that feeling. 

Your asking the question means you do not understand. 

My respectful apologies, but I do not have the patience to write a long explanation to explain to you more clearly why their letters is stupid in the current market.
