Dr. Michel Sadelian, originally from Alberta Canads, and now an immunologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), is the original developer of CAR-T therapy and received the 2024 Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences with Carl June who is a Richard W. Vague Professor in Immunotherspy in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN).
