RE:RE:RE:RE:Go ShopThat was my initial thought exactly. It becomes a matter of the state of the bid, as in is it "formal" or indicative only (the later doesn't require notifying shareholders). If its an informal bid at this point it would imply that negotiations are likely ongoing and not proceeding further until Beedie's intentions are known.
Now having said all that I completely agree that the Board and management are playing in their own rink and rules. I have seen very little evidence of either putting shareholder interests first and at the end of the day the delay in disclosing results from Go Shop may be a nothing burder with no new bid.
