RE:RE:RE:RE:Speculative TheoryThere may also be a legal case here that SA knowingly provided misleading statements/comments to investors, in particular relating to the mature pipeline (examples from the Q2 conference call below). Even Echelon made THNK a top pick on the back of management's pipeline comments, which provides potential evidence that SA's comments were misleading. Unfortunately I don't have much faith in the OSC's ability or willingness to pursue an investigation, but I do think there is enough smoke here to warrant one.
Quotes from the Q2 conference Call: (Similar comments were provided on the Q3 call)
"So, increasingly, Think’s software and data solutions are being seen as essential for constrained healthcare systems to improve patient access to high-quality health services where they are needed and when they are needed. Our pipeline is bursting with these types of opportunities. Our sales pipeline and backlog have never been stronger. We’re very excited about the visibility we have for the rest of fiscal 2023 and beyond."
"And one thing about our pipeline which we’ll say is that it is the largest pipeline in the history of the Company. But very importantly, we have more significant opportunities that are further down the pipeline than we’ve ever had in the history of the Company. And so that’s really quite important because, as you know, some large contracts, particularly government and state contracts, can take a long time to close. Right? Even after they’ve been awarded or even after we know that we’ve won procurements or tendering processes, they can take time to close. And so the maturity of our pipeline is also what gives us a really significant amount of confidence about the overall ARR growth in the company. So medium, small, and very large opportunities, and you should expect to hear much more about those in the coming weeks and months."
