RE:IntegrityThanks for the clarification Noblehouse. I totally agree with you/Experience on never getting married to a stock, although I must admit I rode a few down to 0 in the past. My biggest investment by far in last 1 1/2 years has been CNQ. I have bought and sold it 8 times in 15 months . Probably my best investment with maybe TOU following close behind although not great in last 12-18 months. I liquidated CNQ two weeks ago a little early but still very happy. I will liquidate SU when it reaches my target or close to it,
I am 72 and have been extremely fortunate in my oil and natural gas investments since the summer of 2020. I did have some poor years under Trudeaus first 5 or 6 years.
After some good fortune in oil and NG stocks I diversified into BMO, CM, Enb and Trp in late fall and January 2024. I am very pleased with these 4 although I have now sold my CM. Dividends have been good in all 4, and a decent capital appreciation as well.
my only NG stock is now TOU, which for obvious reason is not doing well right now. This is the only stock I plan to keep long term as I am a huge believer in its potential. I hope I am right , but I forecast it will again be an $80 stock, likely close to when the Shell Kitimat plant is in-service.
