RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Why was the Cat Lake section cut out from the interview?

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Why was the Cat Lake section cut out from the interview?Yup, I actually tried to contact Cat Lake myself but have not been successful. I look at all of this in a very simple way. The government needs and wants the tax dollars and jobs this project will create, they are basically already on board. Cat Lake really wants (among other things) an all year round road and the only way this can realistically be built is if Springpole gets developed. Cat Lake - and other First nations - simply won't survive for many more years if they don't get these roads built because the warm winters have made ice roads extremely dangerous to use. Cat Lake depends on ice roads to get supplies / food / medicine, so if they really think about their future, they must realize that Springpole could not only bring a road network but also lots of infrastructure and jobs to the region. I get that they also want to feel included in the decision making progress and this is what I guess pissed Wesley off when First Mining was issued a road permit. He has stated many times he is not at all against development on their lands, but they simply need more time to be included. That is why you need to right team in place to make this happen.

Dan and Keith are expert negotiators, thats for sure. People don't appreciate enough how much work and negoatiations Dan had to do with the acquisition of the Duparquet project. Keith has also told in many interviews how much he enjoys builindg wealth to communities from scratch. The tales from Mexico where his company First Majestic built entire towns from nothing with schools, housing, water infrastructure etc. really makes one realize this is a good hearted dude. Top that off with Steve Lines (head of EA) who has tremendous experience with all of these permitting issues and you could not be asking for a better team. Maybe the agreement to develop the roads are enough or maybe it takes some kind of revenue sharing agreement, but in the end the money is what will solve this. Also, they still have the entire Duparquet project anyways which could be another huge success. These big projects are the ones that get built and catch the attention of the big players.
GLTA.
