But IF that would be the case for longer, than a short pop...the states of the world will show you, who is the real owner of the oil....and...spoiler...not the shareholder or alternatively...you'll have to sell the oil for $ 90, no matter how the supply/demand looks like= price cap.
Dramatic story short: You'll never reap the rewards of a moonshot in an oil company (because of moonshot oil prices), that's the disadvantage. The advantage: As long as the Opec exists, you're protected against scenarios, like actially in NG...(except for maybe a few months).
Of course...if the Opec change their mind to : We'll let all the offshore + US/CAN producers hit the floor, to teach them a lesson...Imho, they would only need 1-2 years for it with oil below $30.
