RE:US MSOs vs Canadian LPs

RE:US MSOs vs Canadian LPsYou are right, they only have one shot at this. As we have seen in Canada, they don't have a plan to combat the illicit market.  Haven't figured out how to properly or sufficiently roll out a new industry. Marketing, advertising,  dosages, packaging, ownership. They don't want big pharma, don't want alcohol,  don't want tobacco  owning these companies. There should have been more government agencies created to see to further advances. We've seen poor quality moves made by many different Executives and boards. Aurora and Canopy were in a race to see who could control the world and expand into everything without perfecting one. Lots of little companies that have come and gone even if they did have a game plan. But the answer has been to blame the tax scheme.

In the USA they haven't figured it out either and if they follow Canada it's gonna be a clusterfrick also. The upper West Coast has been a mishmash of companies and disasters. Over saturation, and we have these MSOs that are pulling out of markets, whats gonna happen when it becomes a real Donnybrook out there. Shady companies, at least we haven't heard of one selling illegal pot out of an old cold storage warehouse, like some in Manitoba.  In California and New York they haven't and probably won't figure out how to shut down illegal dispensaries.  Not an equal playing field for the ones who play by the rules. Is the USA gonna figure out any of the issues that Canada will take forever on, probably not for a long while.

Until either country figures out how to combat the illicit players out there, it will continue to be a potluck. Is a guy like Simon who thinks he's building a multi consumer growth company over compensated for what he has achieved and what he is doing. YES. But is he the only one with big visions and diluted pockets, NOPE. People thought Bruce Linton was going to be the big leader, sure.

Investors are gonna have multiple chances with all the roadbumps ahead. It's not a one chance to get it right. But the first Government that gets it right is gonna be the winner. And that's not Canada or the US at this point.
